In short the DMRAlert In Track solution allows you to track your radio fleet throughout your work site allowing you to pinpoint their locations at any specific time. This will result in an overall improvement in performance from your workforce as well as increasing efficiency and providing a reliable method of communicating throughout your site.
Your personnel need a solution that is simple and easy to utilise that doesn’t mean they have to carry multiple devices around with them on their patrols - A DMRAlert ® Guard Tour System allows just this.
We can offer a wide range of solutions for your particular environment regardless of the amount of checkpoints, either utilising wireless beacon checkpoints or regular RFID checkpoints. Regardless of which type used, all check points locations are logged and recorded REAL TIME with the radio ID enhancing the protection to your staff.
Passive Tracking using Wireless Technology
Alternative style tracking systems often need the officer to use a swipe card, a key fob or pen, recording their movements as they go about their duties. DMRAlert® Guard Tour offers a ‘passive’ form of tracking, the officer simply moves into the area of the beacon and the location is sent back to the server over the radio network where is it logged with time and date stamp REAL TIME. The reporting suite allows all data to be filtered and exported on demand.
The DMRAlert Guard Tour System is made up of :
DMRAlert Guard Tour will provide you with:
With just one MOTOTRBO™ hand portable radio and DMRAlert Guard Tour Hardware and Software you can:
Who else can utilise this system apart from Security Personnel ?
Easy to Set Up and Use
Our products are well known for their simplicity and ease of use. All that is required is installation of the DMRAlert Guard Tour System software and set up your checkpoints/ beacons throughout your site and you are ready to monitor and report ( utilising existing MOTOTRBO™ radio network or DCRS can provide you with MOTOTRBO™ handportables to utilise on this system).
Old style tracking systems often need the officer to use a swipe card, a key fob or even pen and paper/ whiteboard, recording their movements as they go about their duties. DMRAlert In Track offers a ‘passive’ form of tracking, the officer simply moves into the area of the beacon and the
location is sent back to the server over the radio network where is it logged with time and date stamp real time and fully reportable.
The DMRAlert modules have been designed and developed for use on the Mototrbo platform from Motorola. If you already have Mototrbo radios
the you may need to install additional hardware into the radio (for DMRAlert In Track). If you require DMRAlert Street or Geo Loc then you will need
either of the GPS enabled Mototrbo DP3401 or DP3601 model radios.
For DMRAlert In Track you can use either the Mototrbo DP3400 model or DP3600 model radios. If you require a GPS solution such as DMRAlert Street or DMRAlert Geo Loc then you would require either the DP3401 or the DP3601 model radios.
In 2007 Motorola were the first manufacturer to launch their digital radio in the form of Mototrbo. Before this point in time most users in the UK would have been using analogue two way radios (Motorola GP340, Motorola CP040 model radios for example). The technology that digital radio offers allows us (as solutions providers) to deliver a whole range of new features including Multi Site IP Connect, Digital Trunking, Telephone Interconnect, GPS Tracking etc. Never before has it been so easy to provide you with the integrated solution you require.
Digital radio as standard (out of the box) will provide you with greater coverage, clearer communication, advanced handset functionality compared against like analogue products.
DMRAlert has been delivered successfully into a number of sites and different markets throughout the UK. DMRAlert In Track has been delivered into Meadowhall Shopping Centre allowing them to track their 150+ radios throughout their retail site of 1.6 million square feet.
DMRAlert Street has been delivered into Chelmsford Borough Council allowing them to track their Street Pastors throughout the city centre protecting the workforce and members of the public.
By introducing a tracking system (DMRAlert In Track/ DMRAlert Street) you will speed up response times to incidents resulting in an improvement in performance and increase in efficiencies.
By introducing status reporting with location (DMRAlert In Track) you will enhance defensibility for you site as you will know where incidents (spillages) have taken place, you will know where your hot spots are and you will be able to allocate available resources more effectively.
By introducing alarm forwarding and notification (DMRAlert TAD) you will be able to mobilise your workforce. Automatically sending fire alarms to fire offices, sending BMS alarms to your technical/ maintenance teams, again speeding up response times and cutting out the middle man/ team. You can also escalate alarms so that if the SMS radio message is not acknowledged then the alert is escalated to a GSM (mobile phone) SMS message or even an email, ensuring the alert is received and processed.
By introducing Man Down, Lone Worker and a dedicated emergency button you are protecting your employees and providing them with a secure mechanism for reporting such incidents to your control room.
Whatever system you choose be assured that ALL systems events are recorded and logged on the system and are therefore reportable allowing you to produce valuable data to use to your advantage.
You can replace your old swipe card, key fob tracking solution by simply choosing DMRAlert GT (Guard Tour). Using either beacons or RFID Tags you can define a route that needs to be taken and instigate a patrol of your site. The data is sent real time over the radio network so there is no need to ‘dock’ the unit at the end of the patrol. If an emergency incident occurs whilst the patrol is taking place then the location is highlighted on the DMRAlert system either by and entry in the Event Logger or by a visual display on the mapping solution.
No, the beacons are totally wireless and battery powered providing approximately 3 years life expectancy from a single pair of batteries. As all of the data is sent over the radio network there is no need to Wi-Fi or a LAN, everything is handled by the Mototrbo network.
The beacons are configured to your exact requirements. The range can be tuned between 3 and 30 metres and they can be supplied in IP rated cabinets if they need to be located outside. This work will be completed by your DMRAlert dealer to your complete satisfaction leaving you with accurate and reliable data.
The DMRAlert Event Logger allows you to define and customise any report you require on any fields available including TIME, DATE, RADIO LOCATION, RADIO ID, BEACON ID, RADIO STATUS, PTT START, PTT STOP, ALARM TYPE. This powerful reporting suite gives you the flexibility to produce valid data for many different scenarios that may arise.
In short the Mototrbo radio is fitted with a DMRAlert Option Board (fitted by your DMRAlert Dealer). The option board passively sees the DMRAlert Beacon which have been strategically installed throughout your work site. The RADIO ID AND LOCATION ID are then sent over the radio network back to the server where it is plotted on the map and entered into the Event Logger. This allows you to track every one of your radios on site knowing where they are at any point in time.
As oppose to a swipe card/ key fob system where you are giving your officer an additional task to complete (forcing them to check a window in a key location is actually two event, checking the window and using the swipe card) the DMRAlert beacon solution offers a form of passive tracking. By simply performing the job asked of the officer, their location is recorded passively with time and date stamp.
The DMRAlert brand is a range of modules providing advanced functionality for your MOTOTRBO radio fleet. Enhanced functionality such as GPS Tracking, Indoor Tracking, Guard Tour Patrols and Alarm forwarding and notification are all available by using DMRAlert.
